ISOM HAM IS NOW 206 ARCHITECTS

In 2025, Isom Ham and West Depot Architecture joined forces to become 206 Architects, uniting decades of expertise in hospitality, commercial, and historic architecture. Originally founded in 1988, Isom Ham earned a reputation as a premier hotel architecture firm in the Southeast, completing more than 250 projects across 17 states. Their dual perspective as architects and hotel owner-operators offered clients a distinct advantage.

Founded in 2009 by Joe Seipel-Parks, AIA, West Depot Architecture brought specialized strengths in historic rehabilitation, commercial design, and residential architecture. Joe’s transition to President of Isom Ham in 2023 marked a key step toward the merger and the evolution of a unified, multidisciplinary practice.

Driven by a shared commitment to thoughtful, client-focused design, the two firms came together under the name 206 Architects. The new firm continues to build on the rich legacies of both predecessors—crafting hotels, commercial environments, and adaptive reuse projects that express purpose, identity, and vision.
